Event: Supporting Coherent Policy-Making and Effective Regulation

Public sector reforms need to take account of the broader environment in which the public sector operates. Greece has a regulatory driven administration, and this must be taken into account when considering the reforms that need to be addressed. Appropriate systems, structures and resources must be enabled to ensure that when developing regulations to give effect to government policy, full account is taken of the horizontal impacts, benefits and costs that might arise.
